| Measures the ability to apply the nursing process to assist clients in dealing with major health problems. While the client may be the individual, family, or community, emphasis is placed on the individual at all stages of the life-cycle. Major health problems tested are cardiovascular and hematological malignancies; traumatic injuries and multi-system failure; endocrine and metabolic; and immune system. (This is a required examination for the Excelsior College nursing degrees. Multiple choice examination.) | ||
