| Focuses on the nursing care of patients experiencing cardiovascular/pulmonary problems and abnormal cellular growth. Includes both acute and long-term needs and problems of medical-surgical patients. Assumes the knowledge of anatomy and physiology, emotional and physical development, microbiology and nutrition generally expected of the associate nurse. (This is a required examination for the Excelsior College nursing degrees. Multiple choice examination.) | ||
