Who Is Excelsior College?
Formerly known as Regents College, Excelsior College is a fully accredited college and the nursing degree programs are approved by The National League for Nursing. What Will Excelsior College Do For Me?
Excelsior College will schedule your clinical exam(s) at one of the cooperating research hospitals closest to you. After you have successfully completed the clinical exam(s), you will meet the AS(n) or BSN degree requirements of Excelsior College and be awarded your degree! Excelsior will invite you to a graduation ceremony if you wish to attend. If you choose not to attend the ceremony, Excelsior will mail your degree directly to you.

What Are Proficiency Examinations?
A proficiency exam is a standardized test that is designed to measure the level of knowledge a person may have regardless of how the knowledge was obtained or what method of learning was used to obtain it. Most of these standardized tests are comparable to college end-of-course exams and are accepted by most colleges and universities as demonstration of proficiency in those specific subjects.
